February 2025 Virtual Book Festival
Our goal is to create a strong community for Indie Authors and the people who read them. We want to bring like-minded souls together to celebrate the written word as sacred, no matter the content. We want to support writers in their passion for the craft, and to demonstrate to others that books can be far more entertaining than the screen… most of the time.

The Cast of Adventurers
If you are interested in playing a role in our cast, please read the brief descriptions below, and fill out the form to audition for the part. There won't actually be any real auditions... but this is a good way for us to know who wants to try playing our game and who doesn't. If you'd like to audition for more than one role, feel free to sign up for as many as you like. We will fill the cast member slots on a first come, first served basis. We need eight playful volunteers, and characters are not gender specific. We will send those details with the full character sketch after all the roles have been filled. However, please be sure that you can commit to the following rules of our game before you volunteer:
- All cast members must first sign up to be a presenting author, and pay the participation fee. So if you haven't done that yet, do that, and then come back here to sign up for a cast role.
- It's important to remember that the nightly sessions are being recorded live, they will not be edited, and so we need to keep our imaginations family-friendly. This means language and content - including inuendo and props - must be suitable for 13 years old and up. We can walk closely to the edge, but please don't jump off the cliff! The rocks below are sharp and you my be lost to Superior's revenge. (Translate: if you step too far out of bounds, I may have to kill off your character and not let you back in the room. Please don't make me do that!)
- The event takes place for the entire month of February, except for February 14... because, well, chocolate. We have our priorities!
- Cast members must commit to being present for a minimum of four nights per week. This is to maintain story continuity. If your character is missing, it's harder to ask questions and keep the story moving forward.
- If you'll be absent on ANY night, please send a note to [email protected] so we can plan for your absence. We understand that sometimes urgent situations come up, all we ask is that you let us know as soon as you can so we can pivot.
- If you are absent, it is STRONGLY recommended that you watch the replay to catch up on anything you may have missed... its not uncommon to miss a major change in the story when you're absent, and we'd hate for you to be lost... and we do have a lot of fun when you're missing, sometimes at your expense. It's all in good fun... but you'll want to be aware.
- By volunteering to play a cast member, you understand that this is a Full-On-Panters-Improvisational thing... details will change nightly, and you may need to think quickly as others throw out ideas, and be willing to play along. After all, if I have to hang on to the cliff for dear life and reach for the next crag, not knowing if it's a good hold or not... so do you!
- Understand that you may receive additional game materials daily... so be sure to check your email before you come to the event. If there are changes, they will be in your email box no later than 2:00pm EST the day of the event.
- We are cognizant that this is a big commitment. We will be respectful of your time. Each night will begin with the Cast and Crew Muster in the Zoom Room at 6:50pm EST, and the night will end promptly at 8pm EST... However, please note that the Big Reveal might go long... it usually does (oh, and that night is not guaranteed to be family-friendly.)
