Indie Reads Book Club... Review Rewards Program

Hang Art... Read Books... Track Your Progress...
Post Reviews... Support Indie Authors...Collect Rewards!

How often have you heard it said that reviews are the authors' life blood?  It's all true!  No matter if it's good, bad, or indifferent, the simple fact is that feedback of an author's work is critical to the growth and longevity of their writing career.

Authors who don't receive feedback on their work may suffer many creative ailments... crippling self-doubt about career choices; torrents of second-guessing their genre, plot, and character choices; and a deep, painful questioning of the money spent on marketing programs.

Most importantly is the fact that booksellers rely on reviews when they make decisions about whether or not to invite an author to a reading & signing event at their shop.  An author who has only negative reviews still stands a better chance of being invited to do an event than an author who has NO reviews at all.

No one wants to take a chance on an unknown outcome.  Good reviews bring an expectation of strong book sales.  Negative reviews bring an expectation of controversy... which might translate to book sales, anyway.  But an author with NO reviews might as well have literary leprosy.

This is your opportunity to help Indie Authors collect more reviews and give them the extra support they need to establish a healthy writing career.

You can help by ordering a copy of the Indie Reads Book Review Poster and hang it on your wall.  It's a great piece of art that will also help to track the 90 titles you'll be reading to support Indie Authors.  You're not obligated to buy the poster in order to leave reviews and collect points... but it's a nifty way to track all the books you've read, AND artistically promote Indie Authors in your home to family and friends!

  • When you're ready to read, scratch off the hologram square to reveal the cover.

  • Get a copy of the book and start reading!  If your local library or Indie Bookseller doesn't carry a title, ask them to order it.  Or, you can order one directly from the author's website, or through Amazon.com.

  • Next, read the book!  There's no deadline... there's no rush.  Just take your time and enjoy the read.

  • Finally, when you've finished reading, return to our website, click the book title on the digital portal (in the section below) and leave a review.  It doesn't have to be Pulitzer Prize material... just your HONEST opinion of the book.  Whether good, bad, or indifferent... whether long or short... the best review is an HONEST review!

  • By reading the books and posting reviews, you'll earn points toward nifty rewards.

By the way... the Indie Author Review Program is also a GREAT way to find out what book you may want to read next.  Check the Review Portal frequently to read what others are saying about these spectacular books and Indie Authors!
