Suspense in Writing Fiction Workshop
Slowly I turned, step by step, inch by inch, yearning for the answer, it is there, somewhere before me, waiting, watching, grasping at my heart and very soul.
We all have that scene in a book or movie that keeps us on edge and pulls us to an often heart pounding conclusion. It is called suspense. Building suspense can be a series of twists and turns for both the reader and the writer.
In this fun filled interactive jaunt we will look at ways to build tension and excitement and try to take away some of the mystery of building suspense in your writing. Our goal is to keep your readers on the edge of their seats, or out of them completely.
This workshop is taught by author Andrew Allen Smith, author of "The Masterson Files" Series; "The Theft and Other Short Stories"; and "A Slice of Passion: A Poetic Journey".
