Who's In The Cast?

I don't know about you, but when I write I envision the book as a movie. It helps me to create the characters and settings. I thought it would be fun to have you try your hand at casting a film adaption of Witch'd based on character descriptions alone.

1st place winner will get to create a character to be featured in book 2 as a cameo.

2nd place winner will get to pick a name for one of the new characters appearing in the next book.

3rd place winner will an autographed 8x10 from the photo shoot I did for the book. Winner gets to pick the photo.

1. Graham -- 20 - 21 years old. He is tall and thin with pale skin, big dark blue eyes, a humped nose, and dark brown hair. He wears jeans and t-shirts, flannel, and fur coat.

2. Erasmus -- late 20s to early 30s. He is about 5' 8", thin, pale skinned with tattoos on his arms. He has dark brown eyes. He wears jeans and t-shirts, or just boxers.

3. Amethyst -- mid to late 20s. She is full-figured with pale skin, long dark brown hair and brown eyes. She has tattoos and glasses. Her hair is usually worn in a braid and is rarely seen without a cigarette or joint lit.

4. Beverly --late 40s. She is short with pale skin and dark brown hair. She has dark blue eyes. She's an overly stressed working mother.

5. Ginevra -- mid to late 70s. She has dark blue eyes and black hair usually worn in a chignon. Pale skin. Wears robes and Bohemnian-esque clothes. She has a touch of the exotic about her.

Spell Writing Contest

Here's your opportunity to test your Wiccan skills. Write a Spell made up of Eight lines, with an AA, BB Rhyme Scheme. The subject should be Healing.

What is that rhyme scheme? It's a poem where the ending words of the first two lines (A) rhyme with each other and the ending words of the last two lines (B) rhyme with each other.

Here's an example:
Upon a nice mid-spring day,
Let's take a look at Nature's way.
Breathe the scent of nice fresh air,
Feel the breeze within your hair.

1st Place Spell receives: Your Spell featured in the next book, The Impossible Year and a character featured of your design, you choose the name and dominant trait, and a signed copy of Witch'd.

2nd Place Spell receives a signed copy of Witch'd and Dark & Theatrical, the poetry collection.

3rd Place Spell receives a signed copy of Witch'd.
