Creative Light Writer's Guild Short Story Workshop
Short Story Workshop
Write That Story and Get It Published!
In this six-session workshop, you'll gain insight about crafting fiction, beginning with the short story. After you've completed this workshop, you'll have a polished short story, ready for publication, and perhaps the foundation story for a longer work, such as a novella or novel. Each week, you'll receive instruction in one of the critical areas of story crafting, and have opportunities to fine tune your craft in between sessions. Then, at the end of the workshop, in week six, we'll take what we've learned and written, perform a final peer review, and edit. Then, Pages Promotions will compile everyone's work into a creative works anthology. Each workshop participant will receive a complimentary copy of the anthology, and it will also be available for sale on our website, and at our Autumn Book Festival October 12, 2019. This is an fantastic way to stretch your creative writing muscles while also testing the publishing waters.
