In Support of Indie & Small Press Authors All Over The World, We're Hosting a Virtual Book Festival!
February 1 thru February 28, 2021! In this time of uncertainty and more Social Distancing, due to COVID-19, authors aren't able to meet with crowds of readers at book festivals and fairs as we are accustomed... so we're hosting safer, electronically distanced events! Each day, on the Pages Promotions Virtual Book Festival Group Page, we'll post photos of Authors, images of book covers, author interviews, instructions on how readers can buy books at special event discount pricing, and more! Some Authors might also offer extra contests and giveaways, too! You never know what kind of literary shenanigans might happen... So visit our Virtual Book Festival Group Page EVERY DAY! |
Readers will be able to connect directly with authors through Facebook, engaging in discussions, asking questions, and taking part in surveys, polls, and contests. Each day will have a theme, and anything might happen... games, puzzles, songs, round robin writing challenges, prize giveaways... the possibilities for wordy antics are endless. The Festival will last the entire month of February, so readers will have a lot of time to learn about authors and their books.
February's Theme: Blind Date with A Book!
Each day, we'll host Zoom events with several authors of a particular genre... we'll give you hints, and show you a piece of the cover... but you won't know who the authors are or see the titles and full covers of their books until you get into the Zoom Room. Once we get inside, we'll reveal the authors and their full book covers. Authors will perform a reading, and we'll talk about their writing process, research practices, character conundrums, plot development, and much more. Readers are invited to attend, listen in, and ask questions. Readers can interact through the Live CHAT feature, but will not be connected to audio or video. In this way, even the most shy of fans can meet authors and get their curiosity quenched without getting their tail stuck in the social rocking chair.

Creative Writing Mentoring Webinars!
At several points throughout the month, we'll also host webinars intended to mentor novice authors and others interested in beginning or expanding their writing pursuits. These events will be packed with tips, tricks, industry insider information, and a variety of shared experiences from writers who have "been there, done that". You'll be learning directly from authors who are in the trenches, daily. Some of the topics we'll include are things like marketing, editing, business challenges, book trailers, and more. Each webinar will last a full hour, packed with great information, and will offer attendees an opportunity to ask questions through the Live CHAT feature.

We'll have a catalogue on our website of all the books featured in our Virtual Festival. Just click a cover to jump to the author's website to buy that book, and the author will sign it! We don't take a cut... All royalties go directly to the authors, so you can support their writing careers!
If you'd like the books you buy at our Festival inscribed personally by the author, but you'd prefer to use your
Amazon Prime account, we've got a solution for you!
Authors will have commemorative book plates that they will inscribe, and mail to you, when you send proof of purchase to the author. You'll get that personal experience of having your book signed, while remaining responsible to your budget, too!
