Interstate I -75 is less than one-half mile from the entrance to the Center, with Flint just 25 miles to the north and Detroit 35 miles to the south.

Colombiere Center is easily reached via I-75 north from Detroit or south from Flint to Dixie Highway - Waterford (#93) exit, then south on Dixie 1/4 mile to Big Lake Rd.

From Ann Arbor, take U.S. 23 north to M-59 (Highland Rd. Exit 67). Go east (turn right) to Airport Rd north (left turn) to Andersonville Rd (right turn) to Dixie Highway north (left turn) about 5 miles to Big Lake Rd.

​Turn Left on Big Lake. Follow the signs to Colombiere Center (approximately 1/2 mile).

​"Would it be helpful to you to break up payment for the Retreat into smaller pieces?  We have an easier way to pay.  Sign up to subscribe, at just $95 a week.  Payments will be automatically withdrawn from your bank, credit card, or PayPal account.  We'll keep track of your payments, and send you a final invoice for the balance on July 15, 2023.  This payment plan totals $750, (the additional $50 will help us cover the processing fees).  The balance MUST be paid via PayPal invoice on July 15, 2023.  If the balance is not paid on July 15, 2023, all subscription fees are non-refundable, and writers forfeit their reservation for the retreat."  Enrollment in this payment option expires on May 20, 2023.

    ​You may submit a maximum of two stories and/or poems to be included in our Anthology, either with your reservation, or on the last day of the Retreat.

    Fields marked with an * are required  ​to complete your submission.  You may submit up to two pieces for publication in the Anthology, "Summer Vacation".  Submission Deadline: August 27, 2023
    WRITING SUBMISSION: 
    ​    A STORY OR POEM SUBMISSION IS REQUIRED as part of your reservation application.  You may submit up to two pieces.  The theme for the submission(s) is: "Summer Vacation."  For all the submission guidelines, please refer to THIS PAGE.
