Authors everywhere face the same challenges.  We need a soulful and productive space to write, readers to keep us motivated, shopkeepers to believe in our work, and the media to send news of our books out on every available frequency.

Most of us just want to focus on writing our next book, avoiding the frustration and the lost creative hours on production and promotion.  There's no shame in that... we're writers, not necessarily designers and sales people.

Pages Promotions can help with those discouraging pieces of your career.  We believe that the impact of Independent Authors within the literary community cannot be ignored or belittled.  You deserve just as many accolades as those on the NYT list... readers simply haven't discovered you yet.  Our enthusiasm and experience will challenge and change that awareness.

We are experienced Independent Authors, writers, editors, and publishers, with degrees in English, Journalism, and Creative Composition.   Since 2010, the team at Pages Promotions has assisted over three-hundred-fifty writers and authors edit, publish, and promote their books.  We can help fine tune and ready your book for the marketplace, too.

To ensure your manuscript is in its best form for publication, we show your work the meticulous care we would show our work.  So, we edit… rather comprehensively.

Our editing packages include a review of your manuscript with an eye for all four types of editing—not once, but TWICE.

Round Three (E-Galley) includes Copy Editing, and Round Four (Print Galley) is the final proofread as we format your book for publication.

Why Choose Pages Promotions?  Here's what Makes Us Different:

Many editors charge a per-word price to go through your manuscript just once, sometimes performing only one specific type of editing.  Pages Promotions goes through your book FOUR times, covering all four types of editing, often for less than a developmental editor’s single-round, per-word average.

More importantly, we make it affordable... you do not pay upfront in one large sum, but in installments that more easily fit your budget.  Because if you’re serious enough about your work to hire an editor to improve it, then you are doing your part to elevate the reputation of independently published authors, and you deserve to be rewarded for your integrity.

***EXTRA EDITORIAL ROUNDS

Any additional changes beyond the standard two editorial rounds, either before or after the galley stages, will be charged at full price, equal to one payment installment.

Why Do We Perform Several Rounds of Editing When Other Editors Perform Only One?

As our comprehensive editing encompasses developmental and continuity editing, we are not simply correcting your grammar. For example, when you receive your edited manuscript after the first round of edits, you may see suggestions or questions pertaining to inconsistencies in structural elements, plotlines, chronology, or character development and behavior. These require more than accepting a tracked change to correct.

We give you the opportunity to implement our suggestions, which often creates new or significantly altered content for us to review. As such, those reworked sections essentially require first-pass editing during the second round of edits, so they may call for more attention than the rest of the previously edited manuscript.

This method ensures that we have comprehensively edited the entire text by the third round, and all that remains is the final Copy Edit and Format Edit to polish the minor blemishes that should not detract from your tale.
