For a few years now, each morning at eight o'clock, we post quotes from well-known authors about the writing life on our Facebook page.

The intention behind this idea is to help you start your day with perspectives from writers and authors... notes on their process, advice on battling the setbacks we all encounter along this journey, and words of encouragement for those days when the Muse might not be speaking as loudly as they usually do.

To date, we've posted over 500 of these morning reflections.  We've included thoughts from A.A. Milne, Emily Dickinson, Langston Hughes, Maya Agelou, Robert Frost, Stephen King,  Ursula K. Le Guin, and many others.  We've focused on only posting one thought from each writer to offer a variety of perspectives, rather than just the "popular" ones. (Once is all they get.  After all, they are all Trad authors! 😉)

Now, we want to hear from you, our Beloved Indies!!❤️

The mission of the combined social media presence of Pages Promotions and DKPWriter is to uplift emerging writers and spotlight the amazingly creative talents of Indie Authors.  We've done this by hosting Indie Reads Aloud, a twice-weekly storytelling podcast, by hosting a variety of Virtual Book Festivals, and publishing ten Community Service Anthologies.  The Indie Reads Perspectives feature is just one more way we would like to support our incredible community... but we can't do this one on our own.  We need your wisdom, experience, humor, and compassion to truly elevate our community of writers and support everyone with enthusiasm as we passionately follow the Muse to reach our publishing goals.

We know you've got sneaky little tricks to combat imposter syndrome, writer's block, and the occasional marketing malaise.  We know you have wisdom that's been learned through days, nights, and years in the writing trenches.  We know you've battled the three-headed hydra of sales, dignity, and snark; each time one tendril is mastered, another grows in it's place.  We know you've experienced the bipolar moments of elation at reading and signing events, and the frustration of interior formatting and cover design challenges.  We've all been there.  And the truth is, no one wants to do it alone.

So, here's your opportunity to share a bit of your hard-earned wisdom; become a cheerleader; and perhaps offer a little long-distance therapy for those writers who are celebrating, grieving, fighting, and joyfully creating right along with you.

You never know when a small noodle of inspiration, snark, or support will stick with a writer you've never met... and maybe several you have met.  We get bonus points, too, when we realize that the noodles that stick might also embolden a new writer to jump into the insanity of our wacky world to write their own books.

And wouldn't that be marvelous?!

So, if you'd like to impact the creative world in some small positive way, please complete the form below.  You may send us up to three noodles of wisdom and inspiration.  If you do, we'll rotate them through the list so everyone gets as much equitable exposure as possible.  We'll be sure to include your website on our posts to make it even easier for writers and readers to discover more about you and your spectacular stories.

So, let's have a little fun with this idea.  Remember, we are colleagues and collaborators - not competitors.  We can all enjoy success together. ❤️

Thank you for your kindness and support! 😊
