About The Author: As a kid, books were Tanya DeClercq’s escape. Getting lost in another place and time was so fascinating to her. How authors could weave a tale her mind could envision hooked her and never let go. It is because of those authors that she is working on her first series of paranormal/fantasy books. Her hope is others may read her work to find that momentary journey. The escape waiting for them every time a book opens, or the page turns. Perhaps she will even inspire someone else to share their stories. Tanya’s current exploration into becoming an author began in 2022 with a promise to herself that she would stop deleting and work through the story. She published the first book in her Fate series in May of 2023, all while working full time and caring for her teenager. There is no stopping her now; Tanya’s curiosity to see how far she can go is pushing her forward. Tanya is a true Michigander, working full time at her primary job, trying to be a good mom, and trying to show her children, family, and friends that it is possible to achieve your dreams.
