Pierce is a husband, and father who lives in the Metro Detroit area with his wife Patricia (of more than 25 years), two Shiba Inus (Akira and Yuna), and a black cat named Harley. Title: The Hunted Maiden

Genre: Epic Fantasy

Book Synopsis: “Return this kindness by giving the gift of music to someone else in their time of need.” Mouse—a fugitive and former stowaway—dreams of becoming a musician. By following the melody of his heart, he hopes to escape the grueling work and harsh punishments doled out aboard the Hunter’s Ghost. Gifted a flute by an enigmatic man, he finds himself closer than ever to achieving his goal. Yet to his surprise, it’s not freedom the music leads him to but a strange Fae prisoner. She alone is the sole being he’s ever encountered without a personal song. “The Enemy comes for you, child. A foe like no other.” Those dark words spoken by an ancient seer haunt aerialist and animal trainer Seldy’s every waking thought. When dangerous strangers kidnap her in the midst of a deadly Fae storm, she fears this malicious threat is coming to pass. Now, her survival depends on escaping from the ship she’s being held on, and finding a way back home before the shadowy being—known only as the Enemy—comes for her. Forced together by their intertwining fates, Mouse and Seldy embark on a quest to uncover the secrets of Seldy’s past. Can they arm themselves with her precious truth in time to fight the dark forces eager to claim and corrupt her? Fans of epic fantasy will love the journey of sacrifice and hope found in The Hunted Maiden!

Calmed: Growth After Trauma
by Jennifer Hobbs

Listen To This Episode HERE!
Listener Advisory: Strong Language

About The Author: Jennifer Hobbs is an Army Veteran whose compassion and humor reaches far and wide through her drive to connect with and support others. She has dedicated over a decade teaching in the education industry and serving Veteran nonprofit organizations. Jennifer is empowered by the personal growth that comes with struggle, and she inspires others how to embrace their journeys as well. When she’s not working on reaching others through her new business, BUFF & HOBBS IMPACT LLC, working on her new podcast CELEBRATE THE STRUGGLE or immersed in her love of writing, she’s spending time with her Veteran husband, three kids, and two dogs.

Title: Calmed. Growth After Trauma

Genre: Memoir

Book Synopsis: As a true story told through dual perspectives, a powerful love ignites amidst the chaos in a combat zone between Baghdad and Abu Ghraib, Iraq. Two young soldiers from completely different lives unite together on a deployment-mostly under the privacy of mosquito netting since fraternization was frowned upon. Jennifer was more timid about needing to keep their relationship private, whereas Ryan didn't take well to orders and was rather experienced in manipulating the system.

When a devastating explosion crumbles the course of their lives and budding relationship, they must navigate through the grief separately to find healing. The following years rain with struggles and destructive coping mechanisms as band-aids are slapped on the deep wounds of trauma, yet their love paves a path to each other again. Calmed is the recount of their journeys, how combat brought them together and drove them apart, and a reflection of the laughter and tears through the heartbreak as they learned to trust each other again.

CiberSpiracy
by Wolf O'Rourc

Listen To This Episode HERE!
About The Author: Wolf O’Rourc vaguely remembers having delusions of protecting extraterrestrial lifeforms for MIB. Then he forgot his shades. And looked into a neuralyzer. Maybe.

Centuries of adventures in cybersecurity, politics, and finance haunt his memories. Maybe some agency implanted them. Who cares? They make for thrilling stories pitting quirky characters with high-tech gadgets against evil villains with vile weapons.

His Zazztra series follows a Vegas casino host turned superheroine through the sordid underbelly of crime at home and abroad.  His CyberThriller series explores the secret world of bits and bytes through the eyes of a pink-haired hacktress.  His technothrillers reflect the 23 places I think I may have lived and studied the polyglot people that populate my transmedia storytelling.

In real life, Wolf hangs with the Henderson Writers Group, Sin City Writers Group, and the Las Vegas Screenwriters Group.

Title: CyberSpiracy

Genre: YA Thriller

Book Synopsis: A timid and lonely sixteen-year-old girl flees from bullying into her dream world of dashing master spy dolls, blue-haired Katy Perry Barbies, and pink Hello Kitty dresses.

A presidential video falls into her laptop and puts her pink paradise in peril.

When the clandestine worlds of hacking and military technology collide with her secret crush, she faces the toughest decision of her young life.  Love or War?

Enjoy this first thrilling 280-page adventure in the CyberSeries where a hacker girl sings and dances past discrimination, prejudice, and fear to save her country and herself.
