2022 My Favorite Stories Gift Guide

As a Passionate Plotter in both my writing technique and a great many other aspects of my life, I'm starting to plan for the coming months.  I'm thinking about what candy I'll buy for Halloween so that I can turn off the porch light and eat it all myself.  I'm thinking about Thanksgiving dinner and how nice it is that someone came up with the idea of breeding boneless turkeys so I don't have to figure out how to cut all that meat away and somehow keep my dogs from pilfering the bones.  I'm also thinking about the special people in my life, and how December gives me the perfect excuse to shower those I cherish with gifts without the required explanation.  Sometimes "just because" is enough... but in December, buying presents for people is even easier.  I'm fairly certain there are a lot of other people out in the world who think similarly. 

​As everyone who has ever talked with me also knows, I'm a crazy-focused supporter of all things Indie Author, particularly the wonderful stories my Indie Author friends have created.  And because I enjoy sharing my own little brand of crazy, I've created a Gift Guide to share My Favorite Stories (in several installments over the next few months).  It is my hope that you may find a book that will make a great gift for someone you adore... or perhaps buy a book or two for yourself.  All the books I will feature can be found on Amazon, or directly on the author's websites.

I understand the difficulties associated with our current economic situation.  I think I can speak for the entire Indie Author Community when I say, keeping your home and family safe and well cared for is more important than anything else.  So if books are not in your budget this year, we completely understand.

And... if you can't buy, please consider sharing this post with your book-loving friends.  Or, perhaps take a moment or two to contact your local library and ask them to add one (or all) of these books to their shelves.  Or, if you have already purchased or read one of these books, please consider leaving a review on Amazon, Goodreads, or the Author's website.  Although it sounds like a cliché, reviews really are the life-blood of our writerly careers.
