About The Author: Sally Valentine is a native of Rochester, New York, and has spent many years in the Rochester City School District as both a student and a teacher. While growing up, she lived in Rochester and spent a great deal of time at her grandmother’s farm in Orleans County. She attended SUNY at Albany for a BS in math education and then taught for 25 years. She also has an MS from Nazareth College. She currently lives in Walworth, and is an unapologetic booster of both Rochester and all of New York State.
